Live at a client: MGM Trailers

Dozens of variants, priced live

A 3D configurator for companies selling a product in dozens of variants. The customer changes size, colour and extras, sees the result and knows the price; what reaches you is a finished spec instead of “how much is it”.

The configurator we built for MGM Trailers runs on their production site, open to anyone.

What clients say

Companies we built configurators, models and 3D animation for.

Michał can do it all. If you need 3D sorted out, I genuinely recommend him. Skilled hands, sharp mind.

Working with ARCASTO is a pure pleasure. The 3D assets immediately attracted more customers. Highly recommend: a real pro and a solid partner.
OliwierValero

The more variants, the harder it is to sell

A product with dozens of options looks different in every configuration. The customer can't see the final version, and quoting each variant costs your sales rep hours.

The shelf from our demo: eight brackets times six decors is 48 photos before the customer even picks a size.
  • The customer waits two days for a quote and changes their mind in the meantime.

  • Your rep explains the same options over and over by phone and email.

  • There are too many combinations to photograph or fit in a catalogue.

  • The customer picks the cheaper, “safe” version because they can't see the premium one.

Your sales rep stops answering “how much is it”

Four things that change from the first week the configurator is on your site.

The quote writes itself

The customer picks the options, the configurator does the maths. What lands in your inbox is a priced list of variants, not “please send an offer”.

The customer sees their variant, not the catalogue one

With their size, their fabric, their extras. Fewer questions before the sale and fewer disappointments after delivery.

The pricier version sits next to the cheaper one

In the same window, one click away. Nobody has to describe it on the phone or argue that it is worth it.

One model, three uses

The same 3D model that runs the configurator later goes into the catalogue and the animation. You do not pay twice for the same work.

Drawings or photos of the product are enough to start

You do not need 3D models or a finished list of variants. At every step we say what we need from you and what you see when it ends.

  1. Drawings or photos

    A talk about the product

You show the product and tell me how you sell it today: what the customer picks, what they change most and where quoting starts to hurt.

    • From you: technical drawings, photos or a prototype. Any one of the three will do.
    • At the end: a list of the variants the configurator must handle, and a price range.
  2. Before any interface

    3D models

We model the product and every option separately: the bracket, the colour, the fabric, the extras. The same models come back later in catalogue renders and animation.

    • From you: dimensions and a check that the proportions are right.
    • At the end: models to look at, before any interface exists.
  3. Test address

    The configurator

We assemble the tool: the choices, the dependencies between options, the blocks on impossible combinations and a price recalculated with every click.

    • From you: your price list, or the rules you price a variant by.
    • At the end: a working configurator at a test address.
  4. On your site

    Going live

We embed it into the site you have and, where needed, connect it to your store or CRM. An enquiry from the configurator reaches you with the full spec.

    • From you: access to the site and the address enquiries should go to.
    • At the end: the configurator on your production site.
  5. A separate job

    After launch

A new model or a new fabric arrives and has to go in. We do that as a separate job, without rebuilding the whole thing.

    • From you: a note on what has been added to the range.
    • At the end: new variants inside the same tool.

The questions that come up in every quote

Six things customers ask about most.

We give a figure and a date after one conversation about the product, usually within two working days. Three things decide it: how many models are needed, how many variants the configurator must handle, and whether it prices them and talks to your store. A simple configurator is a matter of weeks; a large catalogue takes longer.

No, the models are part of the job. Technical drawings, photos or a prototype are enough; what comes out of them later works in your catalogue and in animation too.

No. We embed the configurator into the site you have, the way it runs at MGM Trailers on their production address. If the site is old and slow we will say so separately, but it is not a condition.

It runs in the browser, on desktop and phone; the customer installs nothing. The exception is AR preview, the product placed in a room at 1:1 scale, which needs an app.

Yes. The configurator produces a spec and a price, and can send them to your store, your CRM or a rep's inbox. We agree the integration scope up front, because the timeline depends on it.

The opposite: the more variants, the more sense it makes. Eight brackets times six decors is 48 photographs to shoot before the customer even picks a size; the configurator shows every combination without a single photo session.

Tell us what you sell

Two or three sentences are enough: what you do, who for and what should change. We'll reply with an idea and a ballpark quote. The conversation commits you to nothing.
